(our calendar is by google, videos at youtube, and photos by flikr, members will be able to post to all of them as well as the website itself. We will do that later.)
Sign in WITH the credentials you used to register. ABOVE or top of the page you will see a dark/gray bar that has WHITE links ”MY account, dashboard, etc.” Look Up..
To Make a post.. Click DASHBOARD… Then ADD New Post…
1. Put a title in.
2. Upload an image if you want. There is a little circle right above the big TEXT box .. right after the words “upload insert”.. a small box will pop up and give you the opportunity to pic one from your computer.. After you choose a pic and upload.. you have to scroll down and click on FEAUTURED IMAGE words and “insert into post”. Hit Save and or X out. Pic is resizable by clicking on it once it shows in the text bos.
3. Next…Put your text in the box.. Whatever you want it to say..
Pic a CATAGORY by…. RIGHT HAND SIDE.. Checking the box near the CATAGORIES that you want your post to show under. (do not use the featured catagory). The catagory you pic will place it in its proper place. BOTTOM BOXES show on first page. Cadet Corner Will show under Cadet Corner Link.. Important News is reserved for important news only… etc.. You may pic more than one catagory.
4. When done hit PUBLISH buttoon.. RIGHT HAND SIDE.
Go to PREVIEW or go to site and refresh it and go to area where you put your post.
Post can be edited by clicking on manage posts.. by going back to top of page clicking on dashboard … posts .
